VERIFICATION OF ATTENDANCE PROCESS FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION

You MUST log in using your first and last legal name as your profile name (no nicknames). This should also be the name you use when registering.

As attendees log in and out for each session, it is documented with a time stamp.

You will not receive CE credit for a session if you log in more than 10 minutes after a session starts.

Moderators will be available to monitor attendance at sessions as well as chat room activity.

A confirmation code will be given at the end of the session to note on CE evaluation form.

Evaluations will be matched up with time stamps and moderator’s attendance logs for sessions before CE Certificates are granted.

Participants should download the CE Acknowledgment Form. To receive a CE certificate, this form MUST be completed and emailed to FTC Prevention Services at info@ftcpreventionservices.com by October 8th. If you do not complete this form and send in, you WILL NOT receive a certificate.
As a part of the application process to become approved to offer continuing education credits/units at the Mississippi Trauma-Informed Care Virtual Conference, the Mississippi Department of Mental Health agreed to adhere to the policies and procedures of each individual credentialing board. the Mississippi Department of Mental Health does not have the authority to deviate from the agreed upon processes.
Participants must attend approved sessions in their entirety to receive credit for session attendance and complete an evaluation for each one attended. DMH is not responsible for participants’ inability to access the virtual platform or evaluation links due to computer or internet issues that may originate with the participants computer, Internet access, or agency security settings. It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure their ability to access and maintain access to the conference virtual platform and sessions.
The educational portion of this activity is presented by the Mississippi Department ef Mental Health. Continuing education is a separate registration which is required at the beginning if the conference.

The Mississippi Department of Mental Health, Division of Professional Licensure and Certification, has approved up to 14.0 hours for Certified/Licensed Mental Health Therapists, Certified/Licensed Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Therapists, Licensed DMH Administrators, Certified Community Support Specialists, Certified/Licensed DMH Addictions Therapists, and Certified Peer Support Specialists.
The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification has approved the conference for 14.0 CRC hours. Sessions approved include Keynotes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. Breakout Sessions include A3, A4, B1, B3, C2, C4, C5, D2, D3, D4, E4, and E5. E4 was approved for Ethics.
The Marriage and Family Therapy Continuing Education Committee of the MSBOESWMFT has approved the conference for 14.0 general hours for marriage and family therapists. The approval number is MS22-087.
Jackson State University, College of Public Service School of Social Work, is approved as a provider (#SWCU1203) by the Mississippi Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapists. They maintain responsibility for the educational program. Social Workers may receive up to 14 hours for full attendance/successful completion in this course. The following session is approved for Ethic Hours: E2. The following sessions are approved for Diversity Hours: C2, C4, D2 and K7.

2022 Mississippi Trauma Informed Care Conference has been approved by NBCC for NBCC credit. Sessions approved for NBCC credit are clearly identified. MS Department of Mental Health is solely responsible for all aspects of the program. NBCC Approval No. SP-3962.

MS College, Office of Continuing Education has approved this training opportunity for 1.4 hours. There is a fee of $15.00 dollars payable to MS College.
Mississippi Association of Addiction Professionals
Approved by MAAP for 14.0 Contact Hours for the following- credentials: CIC, CADC (l.1 1), CAADC CCS, APS PS, CPM and CCJP. Approval No. 22-610.
Nursing Home Administrators
The MS State Board of Nursing Home Administrators has approved 10.0 CE Hours for the conference. Sessions approved include Keynotes 1, 5, 6 and Breakout sessions A1, A5, B2, C4, D2, El, E2 and E4.
